Nottingham City General Practice Alliance (NCGPA) would like to confirm that Emma Bravery is leaving the post of Chief Operating Officer after nearly 5 years in this position.

Emma oversaw the expansion of NCGPA from a small group to over 130 staff managing over a dozen services across Nottingham City, supporting General Practice and primary care services for its citizens.

The Board and Senior Management Team would like to express it thanks to Emma for her commitment, enthusiasm and dedication to NCGPA and wish her the very best for her future career.

With the advent of Primary Care Networks, Integrated Care Systems and further developments in the local Health Care landscape, NCGPA is reviewing its structures to develop an organisation that meets the needs of Nottingham City General Practice, PCNs and the citizens they serve. This period of review and transition will enable NCGPA to design and consolidate our aligned relationship with PCNs in consultation with our shareholders, stakeholders and other partners. This process is being facilitated by Dr Adele Cresswell and Dr Alastair McLachlan on the joint behalf of PCNs and NCGPA. Adele will cover the NCGPA COO responsibilities on an interim basis until a permanent appointment can be made.
